Who are your favorite Hollywood leading ladies, and which anti aging skin care product do you think they use to help keep them in the hearts and minds of their audiences? Or maybe you?ve never given it much thought? Could it be that you are using the very same wrinkle cream as superstar actresses like Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry?
More than likely the answer is no ? celebrities like these superstar ladies live on their looks and talent, and they have the means to seek out the most advanced tools available to achieve younger looking skin. Currently in Hollywood vogue is the use of ?designer dermatologist? brews and blends to help keep their faces on the silver screen and on magazine covers and high-end product advertising.
You might be one of the lucky people who can afford to use a top of the line anti aging skin care product. The rich and famous, whether film stars or oil field heiresses, are flocking to luxurious ?boutique? dermatology treatments like ?Murad,? named for its creator, Dr. Howard Murad, of Los Angeles. Not for every budget, designer dermatology creations can cost many hundreds of dollars per application.
Younger looking skin isn?t just a concern of the fairer sex any more, especially not in the film industry. Leading men like Brad Pitt also make their living off of their looks and talent. It is no surprise that they are seeking out spa services and cosmetic treatments to help keep themselves at the top of the Top Ten lists.
What makes a name brand facial treatment worth hundreds of dollars per ounce? The most obvious characteristic in common is that they are meticulously formulated by successful dermatologists with talents for smart marketing. You would see many of the same ingredients in your own cosmetic case as in Madonna?s for example, things like vitamins and amino acids. But the distinction lies in the unfamiliar items ? additives like Indian chaulmoogra oil ? which might make you a little curious. Of course, these formulas are packaged in attractive containers which sport the moniker of the doctor of the moment.
This is not to say that adding exotic ingredients to an anti aging skin care product is solely reserved for high end buyers. If you check the label in your own favorite brand you might find synthetic snake venom peptide, purified snail slime, or bee mucous extract on the list.
Concocting eccentric secret formulas for creams or masks in the name of beauty also is not a new idea. The Habsburg Empress Sisi used ground slugs as part of her daily regimen to ensure younger looking skin in 19th century Austria. It is a tradition that extends to Cleopatra and the days of the Pharaohs, and undoubtedly much further back than that.
Don?t get discouraged if you cannot afford the same anti aging skin care product as your favorite femme of the silver screen, or if your wrinkle cream seems amazingly ordinary to you. If you see positive results in your mirror from time to time, you are moving in the right direction.
