I was speaking of “Heritage Foundation” mentioned in post below mine.

One of those organizations with a fine sounding name. Do a search on it, very right wing source of sound bites for Rush types. Life expectancies in the US are lower than any country in Western Europe. We are tied with Cuba in that respect. We pay 1 1/2 to 2 times what anyone else pays on average. 20 times what Cubans pay. Wake up.

There has to be some organized collection of ditto heads posting the drivel we see below. See how it is all worded, it sounds rehearsed to me. For 50 years 80-90% of the American population has let 10-20% of the population screw them. Depending on your view. I say it has been 10% screwing the rest, but some may say only 80% have been getting screwed. Time to change America to serve the majority. Eisenhower and Kennedy taxed rich at 70-80%, now it is just over 30%. Wake up.

Yes but it’s a cult of personality. Kennedy didn’t represent all democrats. People just loved having a Kennedy in office. Anyone can become stale after a while.

Each and every one of those punks who votes for this 2000 page mess will be voting to end their career in Congress.

  8. MrsSarb on December 20th, 2009 5:47 pm

They would have just voted for a different Democrat silly.

  9. stereokid on December 20th, 2009 5:47 pm

How can you vote for a bill that you have never seen?! It shouldn’t be allowed! Something this large would require a few weeks to review.

Well, of course Republicans will stall anything that helps everyday people. They represent monied interests. Is that news to anyone?

Isn’t that how they passed the Federal Reserve Act—late night at Christmas time?

    HEALTHCARE REFORM IS NOT NECESSARY.

We have laws in place that mean anyone who gets in a car accident gets treated at the ER–REGARDLESS of whether they have insurance or cash or not. We have the best mechanism for funding R&D which makes the world’s medicines and treatment technologies.

What we need is GOVERNMENT reform, to remove government from the equation and stop all the unfunded mandates stuck on healthcare providers. Anything else is only trying to remove Constitutionism.

<300 pages are actualy for healthcare...Any guesses what the other 17" are in there for? Remember our dear leader campaigned to eliminate pork from any bill that came to his desk.

    Abraham Lincoln’s emancipation proclaimation

  19. quizerry on December 20th, 2009 5:47 pm

You can go to heritage foundation and read the highlights of what is in the bill. It is a monstrosity of higher taxes and takes away our constitutional rights. It will force you buy insurance and mandate what kind you have to buy. If you don’t you will be fined and or go to jail. CALL YOUR SENATOR TODAY TELL THEM SCRAP THIS BILL OR THEY ARE OUT 2010 2012

The thing about this health care bill is, nobody has read it. At 2,000 pages who has the audacity to sit down and read it?? I don’ t think most know what the bill consists of, not even our congressmen who are so desperate to get the bill through. I think health care does need reform, but socialism is not the way to go about it.

Every bit of progress we make as a nation has been thwarted by Republicans. Name me one piece of legislation where they’ve ever given a damn about everyday people…Just one!

  22. RangRing68 on December 20th, 2009 5:47 pm

the right side is the only side that is going to save this country from you leftist sissys!

  23. RangRing68 on December 20th, 2009 5:47 pm

Until you liberals realize that healthcare is not needed right now! The economy/unemployement problem needs fixing first! OBOT!

  24. RangRing68 on December 20th, 2009 5:47 pm

you are wrong! This healthcare bill will bury this country in even deeper!
